Buhari promises to treat all Nigerians equally

Newly elected president, Muhammadu
Buhari said that he is to extend a hand of friendship
to the outgoing Goodluck Jonathan, Naij reported.
This comes after a resentful presidential campaign in
which both candidates were guilty of contributing to
a feisty relationship between the opposing political
parties.
Buhari was speaking after receiving the Certificate of
Return as the president-elect, which was awarded to
him by the Independent National Electoral
Commission.
Jonathan received praise from heads of state,
including the U.S and UK commending him on
conceding defeat in a gracious manner.
Buhari added that he had no grievances against
anyone and that he had no ill will against Jonathan
and his party.
